Quay

Glossary:

A quay, also known as a wharf, is where ships are moored or anchored next to the dock. The length of the quay, measured in meters, can vary significantly from one terminal to another. For instance, landlocked terminals in Tokyo, Japan, may have a quay length of around 300m, while other terminals, such as Pelepas in Malaysia, may have a quay length of up to 2880m.
